Tourist Train from Russia to Abkhazia Will Open the Season in April

The first trip of the "Sochi" train will depart on April 30th. It will complete its season on October 7th. The train's interiors are designed in the style of the 1970s and 1980s. Passengers can take atmospheric photos to remember their trip in a photo booth with themed props and in an observation car, which can be visited on the Tsandripsh - Gagra section. You can also purchase excursions around the Country of Soul on the train.

During their journey through Abkhazia, passengers of the "Sochi" train will be able to see the main attractions of the republic: Lake Ritsa, the Yupshar Canyon, picturesque waterfalls, mountains, gorges and much more, - Russian Railways said.

Over four years, the "Sochi" tourist train has made 1,400 trips and carried over 200,000 people along the Tuapse - Sochi - Gagra route. Last season, it carried 34,000 passengers - a third more than in the same period in 2023.
