Residents and guests of the Nizhny Novgorod region on November 20 will be able to go on a one-day trip from Nizhny Novgorod to Semenov on a tourist retro steam locomotive. Upon arrival, passengers will be given a tour of the Khokhloma Painting factory and a master class on painting nesting dolls. In addition, the participants will visit the Museum of History and Art, the House of Semyon-Lozhkar, as well as the Golden Khokhloma Museum and Tourist Center and join the Semenov Torzhok interactive program with treats.
Earlier, tourist trains were launched in the region to the ice cream factory in Bor, to Morozko's homeland - Varnavino, to Prostokvashino, Dzerzhinsk, Mokhovye Gory and Sartakovo.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
