The Interfax-tourism portal, citing the CEO of the managing company for tourist and recreational clusters of the region, Leonid Gunkevich, reported that Sysert will receive the status of a tourist cluster in the summer of 2023.
Currently, a project is being implemented to create the Sysert Hundred trail, which will be part of the future cluster. In addition, it will include the Bankovskie Places natural park, a golf club, the Summer at the Factory art cluster on the territory of the abandoned Turchaninov-Solomirsky iron foundry, a ski resort and beach infrastructure.
In the future, it is planned to create another tourist cluster in the Sverdlovsk region on the Chusovaya River.
The bill received proposals from regions, the Presidential Administration, the Security Council, federal agencies, public organizations, and nearly 1,500 citizen appeals.
