The St. Petersburg International Tourism Forum TRAVEL HUB-2022 will bring together several events under a common theme: the sustainable development of tourism and its impact on the socio-economic development of regions and the country in modern conditions. This is reported by the city tourist portal Visit Petersburg.

“Under the new conditions, not only additional challenges arise, but also issues of effective interaction in the field of travel between authorities, businesses, investors, and representatives of related industries. What did 2022 bring and what are the trends for the future - industry representatives will jointly formulate answers to these questions at the St. Petersburg International Tourism Forum TRAVEL HUB-2022.

The program of the forum, which will be held on December 7-9, includes several business events - plenary, discussion and foresight sessions, round tables and conferences. They will be streamed online.

According to Visit Petersburg, more than 50 bright speeches, forecasts and exclusive information on the most important issues in the development of domestic and inbound tourism are planned.

“Participants and guests will be shown the best tourism projects of the country, and industry employees will be prepared to restart the processes associated with receiving guests from abroad. It will be possible to join the non-standard rivalry of online booking systems,” the portal reports.

There will also be events dedicated to business, educational, industrial, scientific, educational, medical and health tourism.

In addition, experts will discuss at the forum a strategy for promoting the regions participating in the Silver Necklace of Russia cluster and share ideas for modernizing the development of the travel sector in other regions of the Russian Federation.

Representatives of authorities in the field of tourism, profile associations and unions, scientific and educational institutions, industrial enterprises, hotels, tour operators, developers and users of IT technologies are invited to participate.
