Lonely Planet, the most popular travel guide in the world, has identified French Toulouse in the top ranking of city attractions in 2025.
The "pink City", as Toulouse is also called because of the color of the bricks from which the houses in its historical part are built, was highly honored, convincing experts with its art galleries, reconstructed industrial facilities, lively cafes, first-class cuisine and the charm of the banks of the Garonne.
All this gave Lonely Planet a reason to compare Toulouse with Paris in miniature.
Other destinations included in the top 10 cities worth visiting in 2025, the world-famous travel guide named Pondicherry (India), Bansko (Bulgaria), Chiang Mai (Thailand), Genoa (Italy), Pittsburgh (USA), Osaka (Japan), Curitiba (Brazil), Palma (Spain) and Edmonton (Canada).
