The Sikhote-Alin Nature Reserve in the Primorsky Territory will receive, the next, already the eighth, group of the student team "Tiger". For a month and a half, 18 «soldiers» of the new "Tiger" group will work for the benefit of the key "tiger" reserve, get acquainted with the reserve business and the unique nature of Central Sikhote-Alin.

For 7 years, the efforts of a student team in the tract and its environs have created four equipped ecological routes - "Blagodatnoye Lake", "Severny Cape", "Golubichnaya Bay" and "Lysaya Mountain". In the coming days, the children will have to mow the grass near the paths, repair the areas damaged during the winter, and update the marking of the decks.

“The tigers have a lot of work to do: on the four existing trails in the Blagodatnoye tract, it is necessary to equip more than 1 km of flooring, crossings over streams and stairs on steep slopes,” explained Sikhote-Alin nature reserve Director, Svetlana Sutyrina. "Then they will work on the arrangement of a new 'tiger' trail, which is scheduled to open in 2022 - the Year of the Tiger on the Eastern calendar."
