Three educational walking routes have been prepared for the New Year holidays at VDNKh, according to the official portal of the mayor and government of Moscow.
One of them is called "Warm Family Atmosphere". It starts st the information center of the main entrance arch, where you can send a letter to Santa Claus. Then visitors will be offered to walk along the Central Alley and take festive photos. The next point will be the museum of Slavic writing "The Word" or the pavilion "Worker and Kolkhoz Woman". Here, on December 25, the New Year's program will begin with master classes, performances and literary performances. After that, guests will be able to look into the Museum of Moscow City Economy.
“You can get acquainted with the history of beekeeping, learn to understand the types of insects and take pictures with a large mock-up of a bee at the next site - the environmental and educational center "Beekeeping" of Mospriroda. Another point of the route will be the playground "Neftegrad". Here, young visitors learn how the oil complex works, climb on the climbing wall, ride slides and swings.
The route "Inspiring" is suitable for lovers of intellectual entertainment and walks in picturesque places. It begins at the Slovo Museum of Slavic Literature.
“On December 25 and January 2, philologist-folklorist Alexander Matochkin will hold thematic lectures-concerts dedicated to Christmas. Then guests will be able to drink coffee, share their impressions and relax while reading literature among green plants in the Rosiso Books pavilion, the City Hall noted.
Further along the route - Biological Museum named after K.A. Timiryazev, which presents the exhibition "12 Signs of the Living". The exposition will tell you how everything that exists on Earth and beyond is interconnected with each other.
After that, visitors will be offered to walk along the eco-trail, and then have a snack.
The third route is "Melodic". It passes through the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center, where the Svidaniye group will perform on December 25, and the Worker and Kolkhoz Woman pavilion, where the Carnival Night musical and educational program is scheduled on December 27.
After that, guests will be invited to the Moscow Model Pavilion.
At the end of the route, guests get to the Museum of Cinema, where, among other exhibits, there is a scientific and memorial office of the legendary director Sergei Eisenstein with genuine personal belongings, drawings and manuscripts.
