Tourists traveling through Europe now know where the best coffee in the Old World is prepared. A rating, compiled based on visitor reviews and assessments by leading industry experts, lists the best coffee shops in the world.
Three establishments located in Europe made it into the top 10. These are the Austrian "Gota Coffee Experts" (3rd place in the ranking), the "Tim Wendelboe" cafe in Norway (5th place) and the French coffee shop "Kawa" (7th place).
The top position in the ranking was taken by "Toby's Estate Coffee Roasters" from Sydney, Australia. One line below is the American coffee shop chain "Onyx Coffee LAB."
In general, the list of the best cafes in the world lists one hundred establishments. Each of them was evaluated for the quality of coffee and snacks, the professionalism of the baristas, the level of customer service and the overall atmosphere of the hall. This took into account 30% of the votes of online survey participants and 70% of the ratings of a professional jury.
Among European countries, 4 Spanish cafes and 2 coffee shops each from Belgium, Germany and Great Britain were among the hundred best. Another 22 EU countries have one cafe each worthy of being included in the hundred best coffee establishments in the world.
