«The most important thing for us is that the winter season will take place. Now it is snowing in the mountains, which we have been waiting for, which allows us to determine when we will open the winter season. Therefore, today I can announce that we will open our skiing season on December 22nd. The opening of the season is always an exciting moment, we are waiting for the snow. We will announce exactly which ski areas will be open, but the launch of the season has already been determined,» said Alexander Belokobylsky.
In general, this winter season, Rosa Khutor will have access to the largest ski area in Russia - 105 km of tracks. Two new tracks will be opened: "Calendula" and "Blueberry". In addition, the resort has launched two new belt-type lifts. One of them, "Veles", is located on the Southern slope at an altitude of 1950 meters above sea level. Another lift - "Pegasus" - at the Finish Zone (here for the first time a training slope was organized, designed for classes with children). Thus, the total number of lifts will reach 32.
In addition to skiing, the resort is always open for relaxation and mountain walks. Guests can take three gondola lifts to Rosa Peak, an impressive observation deck at an altitude of 2,320 meters, which also features popular attractions such as high-altitude swings and suspension bridges. In Rosa Dolina and in the Mountain Olympic Village, guests have access to such entertainment as: rodelbahn, outdoor pools and spa complexes. The Ice Skating Rink, Husky Farm, Shishin Dvor, Museum of Archeology, Ethnopark "My Russia" and other attractions of the resort are open to the public.
