Fishermen of the Republic of North Macedonia met with a shock catch on May Day. During the three days of the competition on Lake Oslomeysko they caught about half a ton of cyprinids. On the eve of the May holidays, the season of the Boyle Cup fishing tournaments started here. It was attended by 16 teams from different regions of the republic: Kichevo, Ohrid, Bitola. Experienced masters of sport fishing managed to catch 178 specimens of cyprinids.

The winner of the competition was the "Urban Carp" team from Ohrid. And this is not surprising, because they came from the deepest and most ancient lake of the Balkan Peninsula. The team from Ohrid fished 38 carps with a total weight of 101.55 kg, well ahead of the competition. The catch of the team "Amateurs", which took second place, amounted to only 45.87 kilograms of fish. The third place went to the Carp Fish team, which presented the jury with 44.86 kilograms of fresh carp.

The organizers of the competition - the club "Hunter Fish" - pleased the winners with good prizes: in addition to traditional cups and medals, lucky fishermen were awarded cash prizes.

In response, the participants of the competition arranged a May Day picnic, treating everyone with fish delicacies.
