The tourist flow to specially protected natural areas of federal significance in Russia is growing steadily. Against this background, national parks continue to improve their infrastructure. The Russian Ministry of Natural Resources spoke on its website about new products this summer.

For example, in the Valdai National Park (Novgorod Region) a picnic area “Golden Fish” was opened.

“Thanks to its accessible location, it will suit all categories of tourists: families, corporate teams and children's excursion groups. The complex is equipped with forest furniture - gazebos, wooden tables and benches, and a fire area. There will also be firewood, toilets, garbage bins, parking, places for swimming, places for setting up tents,” the Ministry of Natural Resources said.

On the territory of the North Ossetian Nature Reserve in the Tseyskoe Gorge, a new art object “Afsati” was installed, created with the participation of the Vladikavkaz Art School, which depicts the patron of wild animals. The facility is located at the entrance complex to the ecological trail “To the Shagatsikomdon waterfall.”

A new information center “The World of Amazing Birds” has been opened in the Trans-Baikal National Park (Buryatia). It is located next to the Baikal Nature Reserve School and the Wildlife Park visitor center. And at the end of August, the construction of a new trail began in the national park.

“It is planned to improve the spontaneous walking trail in Chivyrkuisky Bay with the help of volunteers who will prepare the trail surface and the basis for subsequent work - information content and installation of notices,” the ministry said in a statement.

In the Zyuratkul National Park (Chelyabinsk Region), a section of the South Urals trail was marked this summer. 62 kilometers of the trail runs along the Zyuratkul - this is the longest, multi-day route of the national park.

Employees of the Taimyr Reserves (Krasnoyarsk Territory) this summer presented a visitor center on Lake Lama. It was created on the basis of modular structures and was conceived as a place for informational acquaintance with the Putorana Plateau, with the history of the creation of Taimyr protected areas, flora and fauna, as well as for environmental events and exhibitions.

“Already now, the visitor center has become a point of attraction for local residents and tourists - a winter laboratory building is being built and equipped nearby, where scientists involved in monitoring studies will work. Also, other tasks will be implemented in the building: environmental education, security, tourism,” the Ministry of Natural Resources said.

In the national park "Shushensky Bor" (Krasnoyarsk Territory), the first stage of installation of border signs marking the territory of the Perovsky cluster of natural territory has been completed. They contain information about the rules of conduct for visitors. In addition, there is a map of the Perovsky cluster, contact information and a telephone number for the emergency service hotline.

In the Kenozero National Park (Arkhangelsk region), on Vendozero, a boathouse was completed this summer to store and service boats-lekshmozerok, on which tourists get to the Guzhov mill along the excursion route "System of Five Lakes". Repair work was carried out at the mill itself, a summer kitchen appeared, where guests can cook food safely in the open air, and a bathhouse was repaired. And at the camp site "Okhotnichya Zaimka" the arrangement of new flooring and the construction of a bridge across the stream have been completed.
