The exact date of the opening of the skiing season will depend on weather conditions, especially the presence of a stable snow layer.

«In anticipation of the season, the resort has carried out work to improve the ski area. More convenient for skiing will be the tracks Triton, Gorizont, Yavor. In order to increase the level of comfort, a new interchange hub will appear between the cable cars "Volchya Skala", "Caucasian Express" and "Zapovedny Les". Due to the dismantling of the tunnel, a large open area will be formed in this section, which will make this transport connection more convenient, ”the press service of Rosa Khutor reported.

The resort will expand the ski area on the most popular and picturesque South Slope by another 2.6 km, where at an altitude of more than 1970 meters above sea level, a new track of medium difficulty with excellent species characteristics has been laid. There will also be installed a hoist - a belt conveyor with a gallery, 150 m long, manufactured by LST (France-Italy). Another "magic carpet" (113 pm) will appear at Rosa Stadium, where a new training slope for children will be opened in the Finish zone. Thus, guests of the resort will be able to use more than 104 km of slopes, this is the largest ski area in Russia, and 32 modern ski lifts.

In the upcoming winter season, the Rosa Khutor resort will offer not only a variety of opportunities for active recreation on mountain slopes, but also exciting après-ski activities. Such attractions as a rodelbahn equipped with bright illumination, tubing, alpine swings and bridges, including a "glass" one, will operate. As early as December 1, a family skating rink will start operating in the Ice Palace. During the season, vacationers can also ride toboggan sleds, dog sleds, go on bike tours in the surrounding area and more. Together with an industrial partner, the resort offers spectacular helicopter rides with an overview of the most picturesque places in the Caucasus Nature Reserve.
