The new route from Kislovodsk to Sochi will cost 91-97 billion rubles

This was stated by the Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

«Today we need to go directly to the cities and to unification: the Caucasian Mineral Waters - a powerful project - to link with the Black Sea coast. The road will give the Russians the opportunity to stay in the Stavropol Territory, and then move to ski on Elbrus and then go to rest on the Black Sea coast in Sochi,» said the head of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov.

«Before working out the route, it is necessary to carry out appropriate examinations. From an economic point of view, this is the development of the region. Therefore, there is a balance of interests. It is necessary to study everything and evaluate the possible impact on nature. Only then will we make a decision,» stressed Vladimir Yemelyanov, head of the Stavropol branch of the environmental protection organization Public Ecological Patrol of Russia.
