Organizers of the Russian tourist forum "Travel!" reported that on June 9, as part of the Infrastructure track, a thematic session "Building or not building: why invest in event infrastructure?" will be held. Its participants will discuss the needs of the regions in the exhibition, fair and congress infrastructure.
The report notes that the modern and properly designed infrastructure of the event industry can increase the economic potential, competitiveness and investment attractiveness of the region.
The session will be moderated by Daria Ostrovskaya, General Director of the Exhibition and Research Center R&C. Her company annually prepares a rating of the event potential of Russian regions.
At the end of last year, the Roscongress Foundation, the National Convention Bureau and the All-Russian Research Center R&C conducted a large-scale study of the event opportunities in Russian regions. According to the results, 12 out of 21 regions improved their results compared to the previous year.
The session will also be attended by Mikhail Vagaitsev, Director of the Investor Relations Department of the Tourism.RF Corporation, Alexei Valkov, Director of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Sagid Zaremukov, Director of the National Convention Bureau, Olga Filipenkova, Director of Development of the Krasnaya Polyana Resort, and Music Media CEO Dome Dmitry Yankovenko.
