The company "Kavkaz.The Russian Federation" announced on its website that it had signed a contract for the design and survey work on the improvement of the Mamison ski complex under construction in North Ossetia. The contract amount is 60 million rubles.
"We are talking about the tourist village of Kalak within the borders of the resort, where we plan to improve and green eight hectares of land. Within six months, the contractor will develop sketches, perform engineering studies and draw up design documentation – in February we expect to enter the examination. As soon as we get approval, we will move on to the active phase," said executive director Hassan Timizhev.
The Mamison improvement project is divided into nine stages. From 2024 to 2025, it is planned to equip and green the access road and the central square of the resort, the promenade, the embankments of the Mamikhdon and Bubidon rivers, the pedestrian zone of the Transkam – Zgil highway and the ecotrope. There will also be a fire station at the resort.
In parallel, the creation of the tourist, engineering and ski infrastructure of the resort continues. In particular, two cable cars with a length of 5 km and 20 km of trails are being built – green, blue, red and black difficulty levels.
Mamison is an all-season complex under construction in the Alagirsky district of North Ossetia, a special economic zone operates on the territory of the resort. Construction work began in 2022, the first facilities are planned to be put into operation in 2024, Kavkaz.RF noted.
