The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development announced the relaunch of the national tourism portal, which is already available to users. The presentation of the project took place within the framework of the International Exhibition and Forum "Russia" at VDNH. The updated portal combines the potential of two Internet resources: the portal Russia.travel and the Moscow digital travel platform RUSSPASS.
"Now it is a full-fledged ecosystem for travel enthusiasts, where you can get information about various recreation options, attractions and routes offered by Russian regions, plan a trip and purchase various travel products: book a hotel, purchase an excursion or a ticket to a museum," the message says.
The creators of the project expect that thanks to the portal, regions and businesses can more actively promote their travel products, manage tourist flows, and diversify them. The development of the portal will continue in the future. It is planned to publish a calendar of events with a selection of festivals and regional events, interesting tourists. In addition, new options for routes and travel on different types of transport will be added.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
