Transport festival SPbTransportFest will be held from 18 to 20 May in St. Petersburg.
“Among its events are the international competition of professional skills of bus drivers, which is traditionally loved by the audience, exhibitions of the latest and rare vehicles, the largest retroparade in Russia and other events of the cultural, entertainment and business program,” the official city tour portal Visit Petersburg reported.
Participants from St. Petersburg and other cities of Russia will fight for the victory in the competition of professional skills of bus drivers on May 18.
On May 19, an exhibition of innovative vehicles and equipment will take place on Klenovaya Street and Manezhnaya Square. Leading manufacturers of equipment will present unique samples and novelties.
The culmination of the festival will be a large-scale parade of retro vehicles on May 20.
"Columns of rare buses, trolleybuses, trucks and cars will pass through the streets of St. Petersburg, and then line up on Inzhenernaya Street," the report says.
The program will end with a festive gala concert on Manezhnaya Square.
A novelty of the SPbTransportFest festival will be an author's song contest for participants from 18 to 35 years old. The winners will perform on the main stage of the festival along with popular artists and bands.
The bill received proposals from regions, the Presidential Administration, the Security Council, federal agencies, public organizations, and nearly 1,500 citizen appeals.
The forum, which brought together experts from a wide range of industries, hosted approximately 50 business events across three thematic areas: economics and investment, architecture and integrated territorial development, and tourism and hospitality.
