The annual international running festival, Alpindustria Elbrus Race, took place at the Elbrus resort from August 2 to 4. Over 2,500 participants tackled ten distances through picturesque passes and along mountain rivers, all while enjoying beautiful views of Elbrus. This event was organized with the support of the "Caucasus.RF" corporation.

The variety of distances, including changes in elevation and technical difficulty, allowed everyone to choose a suitable route.

"On the first day, participants lined up for two ultra-distance races of 80 and 60 km, while the most endurance-tested runners completed a 137 km loop around Elbrus. On Saturday, races of 40, 30, 20, and 10 km were held, all starting and finishing at Azau. The female trio finished the 40 km route first, ahead of all the men," the corporation's announcement stated.

Additionally, the organizers arranged an amateur 5.4 km race.

During the sports festival, nearly 12,500 guests enjoyed the resort.

"This is a very good indicator that tourists increasingly prefer to relax in mountain resorts not only in winter but also in summer, combining walks on ecological trails with exciting sports programs," said Valery Zhelatelev, director of the marketing department at "Caucasus.RF."
