Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has appointed Sergei Anoprienko, who previously held the post of head of Rosleskhoz (the Federal Forestry Agency), as deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, according to the agency's website.

Anoprienko's place as head of the Federal Forestry Agency will be taken by Ivan Sovetnikov. Prior to that, he was deputy head of Rosleskhoz.

He was in charge of the implementation of the departmental program of digital transformation, as well as the implementation and maintenance of the operation of a unified state automated information system for accounting for timber and transactions with it.
