The government to allocate more than 5 billion rubles for the construction and reconstruction of hotels

The funds will be used to maintain the 3%-5% rate for 87 projects included in the concessional lending program as part of the Tourism and Hospitality Industry national project in 2021-2022. The subsidy will be received by 10 banks that have issued loans worth 33.7 billion rubles for the construction of hotels in two years.

According to the Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, by the end of the year this amount could grow to 113 billion rubles.

This support measure is designed to promote the growth of the regional economy and tourist flow, as well as the creation of new jobs. Thanks to it, investors can raise borrowed funds for the construction or reconstruction of at least three-star hotels with an area of at least 5,000 square meters. m. or with a number of rooms from 120 rooms, as well as sanatoriums. Preferential loans were issued for up to 15 years at a rate of 3-5% per annum. However, at the same time, the project itself must be in a high degree of elaboration - the investor must already receive documents for the land and develop a business plan.

Projects are being implemented in 33 regions: Vladimir Region, Stavropol Territory, Moscow, Sverdlovsk Region, Perm Territory, Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Republic of Crimea, Tyumen Region, Kaliningrad Region, St. Petersburg, Pskov Region, Khabarovsk Territory, Sakhalin Region, Omsk Region, Kemerovo Region - Kuzbass, Altai Territory, Republic of Buryatia, Tomsk Region, Primorsky Territory, Chuvash Republic - Chuvashia, Samara Region, Yaroslavl Region, Moscow Region, Republic of Adygea, Kaluga Region, Republic of Tatarstan, Irkutsk Region, Perm Territory, Tver Region.
