The government does not plan to close the tourist cashback program

The head of Rostourism, Zarina Doguzova, in her telegram channel said that the Ministry of Finance is currently redistributing expenses, taking into account current tasks, as part of a difficult budget cycle for 2023 and the planning period of 2024-2025.

“However, the tourist cashback program is not closed, we will definitely return to the issue of its financing during the execution of the federal budget in 2023,” Doguzova said.

According to her, earlier the program showed its effectiveness. Cashback was satisfied not only by tourists, but also by business representatives.

"In general, in the current difficult conditions, Rostourism will achieve sustainable operation of the industry and do its best to support millions of its employees, to preserve all programs," the head of the department said.
