It will appear in the famous rose garden of the Riviera Park. Restoration work has recently begun in the 100-year-old rose garden. Within the framework, more than 5,000 roses of 28 varieties will be planted on the territory of the rose garden.
«The main attraction of the renovated rose garden will be a labyrinth made of roses, the height of the flowers in it will be 180 centimeters. It is also planned to create a "Garden of Aromas", where seven fragrant varieties brought from all over the world will grow. Experts have selected special varieties of roses adapted to the climate of the resort. 6,000 boxwood bushes and 1,000 lavender bushes are also going to be planted on its territory to create an evergreen type of rose garden not only in summer, but also in winter,» said David Sogoyan, director of the Riviera Park.
Today, the rose garden lacks the necessary drainage system, automatic watering and water sources. During the reconstruction, 500 meters of drainage pipes will be laid, two automatic irrigation systems will be introduced: drip and irrigation. In a new form, the rose garden will open to visitors in July 2022.
