Moscow Domodedovo Airport met the first flight of the Iranian private airline Meraj Airlines.
The carrier has started to carry out a charter program in a unique direction for the Moscow aviation hub - Rasht - Moscow - Rasht.
Flights to the Iranian city will be carried out four times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Rasht is the largest city on the Caspian coast of Iran. Meraj Airlines is based at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport and Imam Khomeini International Airport.
