In Sochi, a project for the development of electric transport and charging infrastructure was launched with the participation of Control Leasing and the operator of the network of electric filling stations (EZS) Green Drive.

The region's taxi fleet will soon be replenished with 30 electric vehicles, five Tesla-3s are already available for calling in the Yandex.Taxi application. They were presented at the grand opening of the first EZS on the territory of Rosa Khutor, near the Azimut hotel. The second electric station has been opened in Central Sochi - next to the Pullman hotel, and two more have appeared in the Imereti Valley. In total, according to Sergey Yakovlev, General Director of Green Drive LLC, it is planned to install 20-25 fast electric stations in the region and along the M4-Don highway to Moscow.

"Green Drive" is a new federal network of electric charging stations created through private investment and with the support of the financial operator "Control Leasing" within the framework of the Concept for the development of electric transport until 2030 announced by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. In addition to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Kazan, the resort city of Sochi has also become pilot regions for the implementation of the concept. According to the plan of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, in these cities, first of all, infrastructure for electric transport will appear, a zero transport tax on electric vehicles and free parking for them have been introduced. So, by 2024, it is planned to open 20 thousand EZS, and by 2030 - 150 thousand.
