The Eiffel Tower, a tourist symbol of Paris, after almost nine months of forced closure, is again available for visiting from Friday.
Due to COVID-19, visiting of the architectural structure is limited to 13,000 visitors per day compared to 25,000 in the period before the outbreak of the pandemic, the operator company said.
Since June 1, the day of the start of the online sales offices, 70,000 tickets for visiting the Eiffel Tower were purchased, half of which were bought by French citizens, one third by residents of other European countries and 15% by Americans.
