In addition, it is planned to build a network of cafes, restaurants, shops and leisure centers, according to the national tourist portal Russia.travel.
“The uniqueness of the resort lies in a rare combination of natural and climatic factors: the low forest cover of the slopes makes it possible to create an extensive skiing area. And the mineral water sources located here make it possible to consider the resort not only as a ski resort, but also as a balneological resort,” the portal notes.
According to Russia.travel, by 2025 it is planned to increase the length of the slopes of the Mamison resort to 41 km and add five cable cars.
By 2030, it is expected that 73 km of slopes, 18 lifts and several hotels will be built, which can accommodate more than seven thousand people.
As the media reported in early February, citing the head of North Ossetia, Sergei Menyailo, the construction of Mamison will begin in April this year.
