The authorities of Kamchatka intend to attract “effective and talented people” to manage the tourism industry on this peninsula. In this regard, a competition for the post of "chief tourism» was opened, said the head of the region, Vladimir Solodov.

According to him, "everyone who wants to work honestly and in good faith must understand how this can be done.»

The competition will be held in three stages.

The first will last until July 10, 2020. First you need to send a resume and “applicant’s business card” (a video from 3 to 5 minutes) to kadr@kamgov.ru.

Applicants will be tested on the basic and special knowledge. The final test is an online assessment of the professional and personal competencies of applicants using the RESURS-K automated expert competency assessment system.

At the second stage - July 25-26 - the candidates will defend their projects. Here the experts will evaluate the candidate’s ability to argue their opinion; test the ability to draw logical conclusions; reveal the originality of the candidate’s thinking, their point of view on the stated problem in the field of tourism and foreign affairs.

Following the results of tasks 3 candidates will be selected.
