The planting of forest plantations has been completed in the Shorsky National Park as part of the All-Russian project "Plant a Forest" with the support of the interregional environmental public organization "EKA", the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia reports on its website.

Employees of the national park, representatives of EKA, volunteers of the Tashtagol technical school and the Kyzyl-Shor rural settlement of the Tashtagol district took part in this work.

“By joint efforts, forest crops in the amount of 10,000 Scots pine (Pínus sylvestris) trees were planted by the participants in the environmental action on the territory of the Chulesh forestry of the Shor National Park. Landing took place on an area of ​​more than 2 hectares. For planting coniferous trees, strips have been prepared by employees of the national park and local residents of the Chulesh village,” the ministry said.
