The last lanes of Tavrida federal highway will be finished by September. Thus, in the fall of 2020 all four lanes of the route will be at the disposal of drivers, said a representative of the contracting company SU VAD JSC Grigory Nazarov.

The highway will comprise four lanes opening the entire peninsula road from the Crimean bridge to Sevastopol. «The work will be completed in September this year,” said Nazarov.

At the moment, the facility is 85% complete. The work is underway at all seven stages of construction, the main focus is currently on the fifth and sixth sections - bypassing Simferopol and the Bakhchisarai district.

In parallel with this, the installation of noise screens is underway as well as the construction of bridges, elevated pedestrian crossings, and drainage systems.

Previously it was reported that the Tavrida highway is being built as part of the federal targeted program for the socio-economic development of Crimea until 2022. An object worth more than 149 billion rubles will become the main transport artery of the region. The first two lanes of the highway were launched in the last days of December 2018.
