Swimming in Sochi Will Be Possible as Early as Mid-June

The water temperature on the Black Sea coast in the Sochi and Novorossiysk regions is currently around 16-17 degrees. In Crimea, the water temperature is about 15 degrees.

"As for the swimming season, many believe that it comes when the temperature is 20 degrees, doctors recommend that children swim when the temperature is above 22 degrees. Such a temperature is expected in Sochi in the second half of June," - forecasters say.

The swimming season will open in Crimea on June 22, in Sevastopol - from June 22 to 30.
