The official website of the Kamchatka Territory announced the opening of summer tourist routes in the Bystrinsky and Klyuchevskoy natural parks. Following the route "In the footsteps of recent eruptions", travelers will see the "Dead Forest", the "Cone of the Northern Breakthrough of the Great Fissure Tolbachik Eruption", the lava flow and caves of the Southern Breakthrough, as well as the Zvezda crater and other natural attractions.
In addition, it was decided not to close the winter routes of the Nalychevo Nature Park for the time being, since half of them are still covered with snow. Winter routes remain available in the South Kamchatka and Vilyuchinsky natural parks.
The report notes that when visiting the territories of the Volcanoes of Kamchatka Park Network, it is necessary to observe fire safety measures: make fires only in specially equipped places, carefully clean up trash, and do not throw cigarette butts.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
