Sri Lanka exempts PCR /Antigen test for fully vaccinated travellers

The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) has announced that all Fully Vaccinated travellers (who have completed 14 days after the recommended doses of COVID-19 vaccination) arriving to Sri Lanka from overseas will NOT be required to undergo PCR or Rapid Antigen Tests prior to arrival from March 01, 2022 onwards.

Points to Note: All travellers who have obtained COVID-19 vaccines should carry a proof of vaccination in English throughout their travel; Travellers with a past history of COVID-19 infection should depart after 7 days of onset of infection; Travellers of 18 years and below, who have obtained at least a single dose of a recognized vaccine, will be considered as Fully Vaccinated if departed 2 weeks after completion of vaccination; Travellers of 12 years & above who are NOT Fully Vaccinated should mandatorily carry a negative PCR test report done within 72hours prior to embarkation OR a negative Rapid Antigen test report done within 48hours prior to embarkation, in English language; All Tourist Visa holders require mandatory Sri Lanka COVID-19 Insurance coverage to be purchased online or on arrival; This Sri Lanka COVID-19 Insurance has a coverage of USD 75,000 including cover for hospitalized treatment for COVID-19 infection.
