The press service of the Losiny Ostrov National Park announced another replenishment at the Elk Biological Station. In the family of a harem male Vasily, a maral was born.

Earlier, tree deer were born at the biological station. In addition to these newborns in the "kindergarten" in a separate enclosure there are four more fawns, which came for rehabilitation from the village of Stepankovo. All babies are under constant veterinary control.

Visitors to the biostation can view the cubs from observation platforms during a tour of the complex. Guests can arrive at a convenient time and buy an entrance ticket.

"In the past two years, the enclosure complex has been reconstructed, new spacious habitats for animals, viewing platforms for tourists have been equipped," the report says.
