Spain to open borders to vaccinated tourists from June 7

Spain, which was the second most popular tourist destination in the world before the COVID-19 pandemic, will open the entrance to its territory to all vaccinated tourists, regardless of their country of origin, from June 7, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said. 

Britons, who have traditionally been the main connoisseurs of holidays in Spain, are allowed to enter the country without any restrictions from this Monday. Until now, British citizens have been allowed to travel to Spain only if necessary. 

The Spanish authorities hope to attract to the country by the end of 2021 about 45 million foreign tourists, which is half as much as before the outbreak of the epidemic.
