The total area for arranging flower beds in the city is about a thousand square meters.

Evergreen Sochi delights residents and guests in any season. Behind this lies the painstaking work of a large team of landscapers, agronomists, ecologists, and administrations of the city's internal districts. From mid-April, the city will begin planting a new flower assortment, and by the May holidays, our streets and squares will be decorated with about 330,000 seasonal flowers," commented the head of Sochi, Andrei Proshunin.

In the autumn-winter period, Sochi traditionally plants tulips, crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths, muscari, allium, viola, ornamental cabbage, daisies, cineraria, selena, cyclamen, and forget-me-nots. In the spring, they are replaced by marigolds, dahlias, hybrid begonias, angelonia, verbena, and alternanthera.
