The Matsesta balneological resort has been named a "legendary brand of Russia", securing a top spot in the "Top 50 Legendary Brands of Russia" ranking based on a public vote. Russians chose their favorite time-tested companies from hundreds of contenders.

Sergey Somko, Deputy Head of the City of Sochi, highlighted Matsesta's significance, noting that the resort has been operating for over 120 years and is a cornerstone of Sochi's health resort sector. He also emphasized the resort's active involvement in regional social support programs for military personnel and those participating in the special military operation. Last year, Matsesta helped nearly 300 participants of the special military operation improve their health.

The Matsesta resort was also awarded a gold medal in the special nomination "Health for Our Own" at the All-Russian Forum "Zdravnitsa-2025" for its successful work in rehabilitating military personnel. The resort utilizes the hydrosulfide-hydrogen sulfide waters from the Sochi deposit for treatment. These unique waters are believed to treat or alleviate over 1,500 conditions, including diseases of the skin, heart, endocrine system, and musculoskeletal system.
