The day before, on the evening of June 9, during landing at the plane of Nordwind airline, following from Kazan, there was a partial ignition of the left landing gear. A video of a plane landing, to which emergency vehicles are gathering, appeared on social networks.

- Thanks to the well-coordinated work of all airport services, the fire was quickly extinguished, there were no casualties. The passengers were disembarked from the aircraft. There were 191 passengers on board, the press service of Sochi International Airport reported.

On the aircraft, the landing gear on the aircraft was replaced. The airport operated as normal using the second runway.
