Currently, Rosa Khutor opens more than 85 kilometers of perfectly groomed ski slopes daily across all altitude zones. All main cable cars of the resort, the ski school, rental points, and all other services are in operation.
As noted by Sergey Chernov, Deputy General Director for Operation of the Rosa Khutor Mountain Resort: "Despite the fact that the first ten days of March in the Sochi mountains turned out to be one of the warmest in recent seasons, we still have excellent skiing conditions. Thanks to the heavy February snowfalls, which brought 120-170 cm of snow to the resort, we have enough snow to prepare the ski slopes. The low cloud cover contributes to lowering the snow temperature at night below zero, which has a good effect on the preparation of the surface by snow grooming equipment. On the northern slopes, we see almost no degradation of the snow cover on the prepared slopes."
From March 24th to 30th, the New Star Camp sports and music festival will take place at Rosa Khutor, which will once again unite all sports enthusiasts, both amateurs and professionals. This season, an even larger snow park has been built for them: 100,000 cubic meters of snow, about 70 exclusive jibbing figures for riders of absolutely any level of training, and 40,000 m² of total area.
This year, the ski season at the resort is planned to end no earlier than April 13th.
