Organizers of the Russian Tourism Forum "Travel!" announced the signing of a number of partnership agreements in the field of tourism development. One of them was an agreement between St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution "Congress and Exhibition Bureau" and RTF "Travel!".
At the end of last year, RTF "Travel" was presented at the international tourism forum TRAVEL HUB-2022, organized by the St. Petersburg Tourism Development Committee and the Congress and Exhibition Bureau. This year St. Petersburg acted as a Partner City of the "Travel" forum.
"As part of the business program, on June 8, a thematic session was held dedicated to the interregional tourism project "Silver Necklace of Russia". The session was held with the participation of St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution "Congress and Exhibition Bureau" and with the support of the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg," according to the press release.
Several interregional agreements were also signed at the forum site. In particular, the Kamchatka Territory and the Zaporozhye Region will now develop joint projects in the field of tourism. These regions will cooperate in the promotion of tourism resources in the domestic and global tourism markets, as well as improve the quality of tourism services.
In addition, within the framework of this agreement, work will be built on the formation of a positive tourist image and the expansion of the tourist space of these regions, the integration of organizational, economic, information and other resources, as well as the preparation and implementation of joint interregional projects in the field of tourism.
Another agreement on mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of tourism was signed by representatives of the Chelyabinsk and Tyumen regions.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
