Santa Claus Christmas Run to Take Place in Moscow

The official website of the Mayor of Moscow has announced that the traditional Christmas Santa Claus Run will take place on January 7 at the Luzhniki Sports Complex. The event is expected to be one of the brightest and most memorable winter happenings.

Approximately 2,000 participants in festive costumes are expected to take part in the run. Special prizes will be awarded to those with the most original outfits. Participation in the event is completely free, but those wishing to join must register on the official website.

The start and finish line will be at the Small Sports Arena of the Luzhniki Sports Complex. The event will begin with a warm-up led by a professional trainer, followed by the start of the race at 11:00 AM. Participants dressed as Santa Clauses will race a distance of five kilometers.

At the finish line, all participants will receive commemorative medals, hot tea, and meals from a field kitchen. After the race, a ceremonial awards presentation will take place for the winners.
