They are the Rybachinsky meadow (Lug) is a unique ecosystem, which is the only meadow plant community on the Curonian Spit.

In total, more than 900 species of plants grow on the territory of the national park. A quarter of them are found only in the Rybachinsky Meadow, including 14 of the species of orchids of national and regional importance.

According to Kalina, for a long time the national park has waged a principled and persistent struggle for the right to own this territory.
