According to Rostourism in its telegram channel, in October it is planned to launch payment through the fast payment system (FPS) on the Russian Railways website and in the Russian Railways Passengers mobile application to pay for travel on long-distance trains, and by the end of the year - in suburban traffic.

The innovation is expected to be available for 75% of tickets for long-distance trains and about 10% for suburban trains.

The opportunity to buy a ticket through the SBP today already exists at the stations at all long-distance ticket offices, the Rostourism reported.

As noted on the Russian Railways website, the SBP ticket payment technology allows non-cash payments from individuals using a dynamic QR code on the terminal screen. Funds are credited to the carrier's account almost immediately after the payment is confirmed by the passenger.

With the help of such a system, paying for trips will become easier, more convenient and faster, according to the company.
