Russia and the United States will create a unified information system for studying the languages of the indigenous peoples of the Arctic, including Dolgan and Evenki.
A group of specialists from Russian and American universities will analyse the origin and current state of ethnic languages, as well as create a unified database on the culture and genetics of the peoples of the Arctic.
The project is supported by a grant from the Russian Science Foundation and is focused, in particular, on the regions of Yakutia and Chukotka, TASS reported.
The bill received proposals from regions, the Presidential Administration, the Security Council, federal agencies, public organizations, and nearly 1,500 citizen appeals.
The forum, which brought together experts from a wide range of industries, hosted approximately 50 business events across three thematic areas: economics and investment, architecture and integrated territorial development, and tourism and hospitality.
