The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed the Decree on the national development goals of Russia until 2030, with the environment being brought to a new strategic level.

At the same time, as reported on the official website of the government, the implementation of current national projects remains in force until 2024.

In terms of ecology, three areas are defined by national goals that did not exist before, which demonstrates their particular importance.

By October 30, 2020, the Government of the Russian Federation will present a plan to bring the 2018 Decree in line with the new one.

The Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, in its part, will prepare proposals for the implementation of the projects.
