The yew-boxwood grove is a popular tourist attraction in Sochi. In a few years, a lot of messages have appeared on a small rocky area near the trail, which are difficult to clean even with a solvent.

The inspectors of the Khostinsky department cleaned the surface of the rocks with a grinder. They did the same with wooden benches. In most cases, written signs and information boards have to be replaced with new ones.

The Caucasian Reserve  explained that such self-expression of visitors to the routes of the Yew-Boxwood Grove can be very expensive for them. Such a violation is regarded as damage to property and entails administrative liability.

In the case of painting rocks, punishment is also provided. On the territory of the reserve, it is prohibited to put inscriptions and signs on trees, boulders and rocks.
