The ban on flights was introduced in the air harbors of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista.
“The temporary flight restriction regime will continue to operate until January 2, 2023,” the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency said.
As alternative routes, the department recommended that carriers use the existing airports of Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow.
