The Quebec Ministry of tourism released a tourism development plan for the period 2020-2023.

Thanks to a set of measures approved by the authorities, the French-speaking province of Canada intends to become a world leader in creating an infrastructure base that allows developing sustainable tourism.

It is envisaged, in particular, the opening of electric car rental companies which are in growing demand among foreign customers, the expansion of the supply of electric snowmobiles and the development of a network of specialized electric filling stations.

In addition, Quebec authorities propose to abandon the use of steel rebar and concrete structures in favor of wood, as an environmentally safe and durable building material. For its part, the regional government is ready to support this initiative with the necessary amount of subsidies.
