In total, it is planned to carry out at least fifteen trips-raids from November to May within the boundaries of regional specially protected natural areas of the republic. The World Wildlife Fund, in turn, will provide support in the form of fuel, car maintenance and daily allowances.
The raids will take place on the territory of the Kiskachinsky, Iyussky, Bogradsky nature reserves, the natural monuments Kamenny Les, Bondarevsky Bor, Smirnovsky Bor, Ochursky Bor, Ivanovskie Lakes, natural parks Khakassia, "Marankulsky" and will cover at least 400 thousand hectares of valuable landscapes.
The press service of the foundation said that the constant presence of inspectors and volunteers will help to quickly detect or prevent illegal logging, put out fires, and identify other violations.
The participants of the raids will also hold talks with local residents and hand out information leaflets about good behavior in the forests.
