Residents and guests of the Murmansk region can now purchase a unique tourist souvenir - the Polar Explorer's Passport, which confirms the crossing of the Arctic Circle.
This was announced on its website by the regional Committee for Tourism.
“A traveler can collect beautiful stamps on the pages of his passport in popular tourist places, as well as receive pleasant bonuses from project partners in the form of discounts on tours, hotel accommodation and discounts on restaurant services,” said the general director of the Tourist Information Center (TIC) of the Murmansk Region Anastasia Ivanova, whose words are given in the message.
The "passport" has the attributes of a real document: the first pages contain a spread with personal information and a number. The owner will not need to enter personal data on his own - during registration, information is entered in the passport along with the tourist's favorite photograph, the committee noted.
“The passport contains a list of interesting places in the Murmansk region, for visiting which the traveler will receive special stamps. The spreads for the stamps are decorated with atmospheric illustrations,” the message says.
You can buy a "Polar Explorer's Passport" at the office of the Tourist Information Center of the region.
