The press service of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region has announced the project "Path of Poets and Friends: from Murano to Abramtsevo". This walking route will connect two museums-reserves and promote ecological, educational, and historical-cultural tourism in the region.
The organization of the route is expected to require no interference with the existing park spaces and historical-cultural ensembles. With the help of a team of heritage volunteers, efforts will be made to clean and improve the area, adding infrastructure and rest areas along the trail. Additionally, plans are in place to restore existing roads and paths along the route.
Volunteers have already studied the area, mapped out routes, and familiarized themselves with the landscape's features. They have also participated in excursions to the estate complexes and explored their unique styles for further work.
Project authors hope that it will not only promote the cultural heritage of the two historical estates but also popularize volunteer activities and engage residents of the Moscow Region in these efforts.
